History

 

Our firm was founded in 1984 after four of the named partners left a larger firm to focus exclusively on representing a small number of clients whose cases demand our full and undivided attention. In our opinion, too many law firms these days promote themselves by proudly proclaiming the large number of cases they handle. At Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, our philosophy is just the opposite. We proudly proclaim that we represent fewer clients per lawyer than any firm we know of. Over the past 25 years, the principal attorneys in our firm have represented, on average, just six clients per lawyer at any one time. That’s it.

 

Why are we proud of representing such a small number of clients year in and year out? Because it is the only way we know of to devote the necessary time, research and resources to maximize each client’s opportunity for the best possible result. We are hands-on partners, with lawyers doing the legal work. And, we believe, our track record is living proof of how this strategy works. For over 30 years we have provided trial and appellate work in all types of cases for our clients throughout the State of Florida and other states as well.  Unlike many firms that proudly proclaim the large number of cases they are working on, we take the opposite approach.  At our firm we are very selective about the cases we will accept but, when we do accept a case, you can be sure that it will receive our complete attention.  And, because we limit the number of cases we will work on at any one time, we have the time and the resources to do whatever it takes to maximize the client’s recovery.  We are easy to get ahold of.  We respond to phone calls and emails promptly and all of our clients get our cell phone numbers and home numbers in case they need to contact us when the office is closed.
